Located on the east side of Cincinnati, Mt. Lookout is north of the Linwood neighborhood and overlooks the Ohio River valley. Originally known as Delta, Mt. Lookout became part of Cincinnati in 1870. The Cincinnati Observatory moved to Delta in 1873, and the neighborhood's name changed to Mt. Lookout.
